Top 10: Cornerbacks

Jimmy Williams of Virginia Tech headlines this extremely weak class, but might project better at safety in the NFL. After that, there are a whole lot of prospects missing one or more elements of a top CB. This position could get turned on its ear by April. This is what I think of them now.

1. Jimmy Williams (FS), Virginia Tech

2. Tye Hill, Clemson
3. Demario Minter, Georgia
4. Alan Zamaitas, Penn State
5. Kelly Jennings, Miami
6. Ashton Youboty*, Ohio State
7. Darrell Hunter, Miami Ohio
8. Devin Hester*, Miami
9. Tim Jennings, Georgia
10. Will Blackmon (WR), Boston College

Sleeper: Dion Byrum, Ohio -- Richard Marshall*, Fresno State

Jimmy Williams is a big man. I watched him play FSU this weekend, I couldn't believe it. He got burned a few times deep, but that was from lack of support over the middle.

I can see him going in the top 10.
